Melvin President Phone: 864.356.9003 pete@sportometrics.com Peter Melvin is a Professor of Finance and Economics at Anderson College, Anderson South Carolina specializing in financial economics and sports economics. He completed his doctorate in Applied Economics at Clemson University in Spring 2000 specializing in financial economics and international finance and trade. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1998-99. Peter is also an avid amateur golfer and student of the game. He has been golfing for over fifteen years at the college and mini-tour levels. Peter enjoys studying golf course architecture and the fundamentals of the golf swing. Bobby McCormick Director of Research Phone: 864-868-5767 bobby@sportometrics.com Bobby McCormick is Professor of Economics and BB&T Scholar at Clemson University specializing in managerial and sports economics. He is also Director of the Center for Policy and Legal Studies at Clemson. Bobby has published extensively in the academic journals on these and other topics. He has been chosen as the Clemson University Master Teacher for 1998 and the Prince Innovative Teacher of the Year for 1997 particularly for his classroom efforts in sports and economics. Bobby's textbook Managerial Economics is used widely around the world in business schools. He received his B.A. and M.A. from Clemson University and his Ph.D. from Texas A&M. Other academic positions include University of Rochester, Virginia Tech, and Universidad Francisco Marroquin. Bobby consults with law firms, governments, and corporations on financial, economic development, and similar matters. He has testified before the U.S. Congress and state legislatures.
